Evidence-Based Living blog joins the BCTR
January 30, 2013

Jane Powers
The BCTR is proud to welcome the Evidence-Based Living blog to the center. Started by Karl Pillemer and Rhoda Meador (now director of the Ithaca College Gerontology Institute) in 2010, the blog is now managed by Jane Powers (Director, ACT for Youth) in the BCTR and posts continue to be written by Sheri Hall with input from BCTR staff.
The blog is based on one key principle: Now more than ever, people need help separating the good scientific information from the bad. We are all about assessing the scientific evidence on human problems and looking at how to use it every day.
The blog's post topics are diverse, including parenting, health, aging, and other issues that directly impact people's daily lives. Look for alerts about new Evidence-Based Living blog posts in the BCTR news feed and on our Facebook page.
Here is the Evidence-Based Living blog post explaining the transition to the BCTR.

Yeah Jane! I am glad you are working on Evidence-based research. I am still evaluating youth issues and Lions-Quest programs as a consultant.
