The National Data Archive on Child Abuse and Neglect (NDACAN) hosted its 22nd annual Summer Research Institute (SRI) on campus from June 9-13th. Thirteen child maltreatment researchers were accepted from a pool of 57 applicants. The Institute offered an intensive secondary data analysis experience, providing support to participants working on their own research projects using Archive data. Statistical consultant, Chris Wiesen of the Odum Institute at the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill was available to assist data users with complex data issues. In addition to working on their research projects, participants also enjoyed mid-afternoon campus walks and an off-campus excursion to beautiful Taughannock Falls State Park.
